Welcome to the 4,3,2,1 Read! blog. Here we can share ideas for the program, then have online discussions about the books and events throughout the summer.


Just as we did last year, we need suggestions for two books on a related theme, one fiction and one non-fiction. If you remember, last year the theme was Afghanistan, and the two books were Three Cups of Tea and A Thousand Splendid Suns.

Once again, we need an interesting theme and books that many members of the community would enjoy reading and discussing. If the books have obvious links to films we could show, so much the better!

If you have read or heard of a book that you think would be great, or if you can think of a theme that you would like to read more about, please help by emailing your suggestion to goldbergj@northernhhighlands.org, or by stopping by the library to discuss your ideas in person.
